Bobby Bradley, 1B, Indians. While his first at-bat resulted in a ground ball double play, Bradley quickly turned his night around for Triple-A Columbus. He hit three consecutive doubles, two to left field and his final one to right field. While he does have some swing and miss to his game, the Indians’ No. 7 prospect is translating his raw power into games.

Mercado just walked to reach base a 4th time. He came into the game with 3 steals. He just stole his 3rd base today.

Oops, take that back, Mercado just stole 3rd so he now has 4 steals on the day!

I think the Clip Show has 7 steals or so as a whole. Methinks the Louisville catcher has some issues.

My boy Eli Morgan finally gave up a run today. He has given up 2 hits and 1 ER in 5 IP. Hillcats down 1-0 in 6th, as they have only managed 1 GD hit.

Akron won 5-3 today. My boy Longo with a triple on a 1-3 day.

And Columbus game just finished, they win 9-5. ... Mercado 3-4 with a walks, a double and 4 steals.... Lindor 0-4. ... Bradley 0-4 with 3 K, he did manage to put one ball in play. ... Luplow and Stamets with homers.

Was just checking the boxscore there too and discovered Lindor. Bobby Bradley got a kiss of death from BA, he's 0 for four with 3 k. Brian Barnes with 3 hits if anyone really cares. He was also the only Clipper caught stealing while Mercado was joined by eric, Luplow and Flaherty with successful steals.

Brady has some decent moments but he's never made a prospect list and seems like a LH Chang.
In relief some of the guys who populated spring training have done well today: Pounders and Josh Smith; and some not so well, A.J. Cole who walked 2 inh his scoreless inning. Homerun off Jon Edwards.

Stephen Kwan had the day off for the Hillcats so they had no one to set the table. Oscar G with a hit. He's at 351 but has not drawn a single walk. He managed 12 all last summer and 5 in short season the year before. Meanwhile he's struck out 16 times in 57 AB. He needs to better or he's not gong to make it at higher levels.

Lake County is underway as well. I love these day games when I'm off and my wife is working. Down 1-0 early. Freeman has a walk and a steal so far. Mota has given up a run, but 3 K in 2 innings.

Morgan finishes nicely again. 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 7 K
