Indians: Daniel Johnson, OF (No. 22) -- 3-for-5, 2 2B, 4 RBI (Double-A Akron)
Johnson has now driven in four runs in back-to-back games and is 5-for-8 at the plate in that span. The 23-year-old impressed the Indians during Spring Training and if he keeps raking like this, it likely won't be long until he is bumped up to Triple-A and eventually to Cleveland.

When our class A pitchers this April are good, they are [Oviedo, Burgos, Morgan, Hillman, Mejia twice each; Garza once] very very good but when they are bad [Garza twice and now Oviedo once] they are horrid

only doubles among xb hits? Well, he's got time to develop and drawing all those walks is a very good sign.

JC Mejia with 3 great innings, no runs, 2 hits 5 K. But he lost it in the 4th and 3 have scored.

Chang working for Columbus. He never does very well and today is kind of typical, 3-4-2-2-9-4 HR.
Johnson with a single and a double and it's only the 2nd inning for Akron. Hentges has had two really terrible starts. Tonight 1 run in his first inning. ERA stands at 9.35
Raymond Burgos going for Lake County, 0.87 in his first 2 starts, just about the same as Mejia had going in. Game just getting underway.

James Karinchak Only struck out four of the five batters he faced tonight. His K per nine ending ratio dropped from 27 to 25.2.
Might be time to give up on him!

Indians Prospective @indiansPro
#Indians RHP prospect Nick Sandlin is on his way to Akron & should be activated by the weekend to join the RubberDucks bullpen. Sandlin had been dealing w/ a right forearm issue. Organization was holding him back in Goodyear out of precaution. Sandlin is a top relief prospect.

Yay, the Akron link is up. Game will start soon.
I have the day off, so get to watch a lot of day baseball. Even the Indians play late this afternoon.

Sandlin and Karinchak together in the Akron bullpen could be coming attraction for the Indians bullpen by the end of this season.
And speaking of relievers, Broom as you noted has an ERA of zero and has fanned 11 in 6 innings, with 2 walks.
And Aaron Pinto another 2018 draftee in Lake County has the same spotless ERA and has fanned 44 in 8 1/3 walking 2
