Re: GameTime!™

To probably no one's surprise, DeLauter is out of the lineup again today. I see no update at MLB or the PD. I am sure he is being rested "with an maximum with caution" but he's going to have to show an ability to play nearly every day.

Re: GameTime!™

2 run homer today by Brito; 3 run homer by Halpin Valera continues to hit pretty well, a single in 3 AB: 400/.1155 OPS Manzardo stays cold. 0-3 with a walk. 100/ 350 OPS Jones 0-3 with 2 K's; now 167/667 with nothing to show in his last 3 games Genao 0=2 125/ 347. He's our top prospect currently in ...

Re: SPRING TRAINING 2017!

"lower body soreness" Is that his feet injury recurring? or his lower abdomen obliques again? Chase made it through 2 games healthy which is a pretty good stretch for him. He seems remarkably unlikely to have a healthy career. Hoping I;m wrong. The other oft-injured [Valera, Bazzana, Brito...

Re: GameTime!™

Kwan's first ST start in CF today. Rocchio again at 2nd and Arias at SS. I wonder if perhaps you were looking at a 2025 interview when Brito was competing for the 2nd base spot with Arias and Rocchio was playing short. Cecconi making his first start of the spring. Did not sign up for the Italian nat...

Re: GameTime!™

Nice game for Bazzana: 3 run homer and a single in 3 at bats. Brito at 3rd base made 2 throwing errors, went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts Valera single and strike out. 429/1357 Velazquez singles in his only AB 600/1267, Alfonsin Rosario, now up to 4 K's in 5 AB In the battle for the last spot in the bullpe...

Re: General Discussion

seems unlikely Brito will make the team out of spring training. He played only 24 games in Columbus last year. On the other hand, he had the whole season in Cleveland in 2024 with an 808 OPS so not impossible

Re: GameTime!™

In RF today for the visiting Dbacks is now-30 year old Oscar Mercado one of our past OF of the Future. In 2019 he hit a solid 269/318/443.
In 2020 128/174/174.
In 2021 224/300/369;
in 2022 208/244/375

Re: General Discussion

I hadn't heard Vogt's summary of the infielders so help me understand: is that the plan for Spring Training or for the season? If Rocchio is playing SS who plays 2nd before Bazzana is ready whenver that may be? A combination of Arias, Schneemann and Martinez?

Re: GameTime!™

VERY early returns:
Nice to see Ralphy Velazquez with a pair of singles and a walk. Slugger can do other things with the bat
Watson off to a nice start 4 trips to the plate: 2 singles, 1 walk, 1 triple
Bazzana 0-5 with a walk.
